Get ready to dance the night away! Our disco will take you on a musical journey through the decades, with classic floor fillers from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s and 00s, all the way through to the biggest hits of today.
Whether you’re a fan of Motown, disco, indie, pop, rock or guilty pleasures, there’ll be something to get everyone up and dancing. And yes, requests are very much encouraged — so start thinking about your must-play or a song that we will HAVE TO dance to together.
THE FEAST
Hog Roast
Come hungry!
From 8pm, we’ll be serving up a glorious hog roast with a selection of salads, because apparently turning 40 requires serious food.
Our vegetarian friends are very welcome too. Just let us know before you arrive so we can make sure you’re not left eyeing up the hog with envy.
Fine Cheeses
And, because no birthday party is complete without an entirely reasonable amount of cheese, there’ll be a selection of lovely cheesy things to enjoy later in the evening.
This is largely Vicky’s wish — and, frankly, who will argue?
Expect plenty of cheese, and possibly a level of enthusiasm about cheese that is disproportionate to its importance.

There is car parking available and we ask people to park considerately as not everyone will be partying all night.
Any vehicles left overnight should be moved by 10am the following day.
This is an adult party, so we ask you to arrange your babysitters! Only family children (and babes in arms) will be there until 9pm.
